Chronic pain affects more American adults than cancer, heart disease, and diabetes combined. We need your help to cure chronic pain! You may be eligible to participate if you:
-Are between the ages of 30-65
-Do not have significant depression or anxiety
-Do not have a history of diabetes or cancer
Participants will be asked to complete questionnaires and sensitivity testing involving pressure and heat to the skin during brief research sessions at our lab located in the ground floor of Shands hospital. These tests give us important information about nervous system functioning related to pain to help us find out what makes you different from a chronic pain patient. Monetary compensation is provided for participation!
