Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation ImageWelcome to the the Center for Musculoskeletal Pain and Fatigue Research!

The Center for Musculoskeletal Pain Research is dedicated to the study of mechanisms responsible for musculoskeletal pain and fatigue, but we are also focused on patient care. Several of our faculty members evaluate and treat patients with Musculoskeletal Pain and Fatigue related to Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Osteoarthritis, and other Chronic Pain Conditions such as Back or Neck Pain.

Our main focus, however, is the study of mechanisms responsible for chronic fatigue and chronic pain states. Clinical trials are conducted in our Research Center located in the UF Campus Health Science Center on the ground floor, Room G0-56.

If you have a referral to see a rheumatologist or a musculoskeletal pain specialist please contact the medical plaza at 352-265-4846. Operators will assist you in new patient scheduling for Dr. Roland Staud’s clinical practice.
