Today we acknowledge those who live with chronic pain and celebrate their courage and strength. We strive to educate the public and bring awareness of Fibromyalgia and other chronic pain illnesses. The UF Center for Musculoskeletal Pain Research is studying the mechanisms of chronic pain and fatigue. Through our research we are making a difference in this debilitating disorder that causes widespread pain and fatigue, as well as issues with sleep and memory. We hope to use our research findings to develop better treatment and diagnosing methods for fibromyalgia and other chronic pain conditions.
